Special Guest Announcement: Michael DeForge!

We're excited to announce Michael DeForge will be a special guest at the Chicago Alternative Comics Expo, June 15 & 16 2013!Michael DeForge lives in Toronto and works as a cartoonist and illustrator. His series Lose is published annually by Koyama Press. His web strip Ant Comic is serialized weekly and will be collected into a graphic novel by Drawn and Quarterly upon its completion.In the past few years, Michael's work has become a massive presence in the world of underground comics, coupled with an inhuman yield of production in the worlds of illustration and animation. Michael's work has a large following in Chicago, with his comics flying off the shelves at independent bookstores, and his presence was a highlight at CAKE last year. We're very excited to have him involved.We'll be announcing more special guests in the next few weeks. CAKE's application is open through January 1st.
