Ivan Brunetti Draws CAKE 2015 Poster and Banner Art!

CAKE organizers are so very excited to announce that  Ivan Brunetti is our poster and banner artist for CAKE 2015! As an iconic and incredibly prolific cartoonist and as a professor at Columbia College Chicago, Ivan is a beloved member of the Chicago comics community whose work and instruction has influenced new generations of cartoonists. He is known for exploring taboo subjects in his work and using an eclectic variety of styles, switching often from extreme realism to brusque minimalism and anywhere in-between. For this year's poster Ivan has drawn characters from each of our special guests’ work. We are so excited to see these characters in the Brunetti style and we hope our special guests are, too. Two special guests have not announced yet, so their panels are blurred until the big reveal!
