CAKE 2016 Special Guest Announcement: Laura Park!

CAKE is excited to announce our next special guest for 2016: Laura Park!donotdisturb_1Laura Park is a cartoonist and illustrator who lives in Chicago. Her work has appeared in the Best American Comics, Anthology of Graphic Fiction, Vice magazine, and Saveur.com. She is the illustrator for two middle-grade kids' book series written by James Patterson, Middle School and I Funny, both of which have been number one New York Times bestsellers. Her book Do Not Disturb My Waking Dream will be published by Drawn & Quarterly in 2016. She is a member of the jam comics collective Trubble Club, and she created the poster art for the first annual CAKE in 2012.
