CAKE is excited to announce our next special guest for 2017: C. “Spike” Trotman!Charlie “Spike” Trotman is an accomplished cartoonist and publisher and an outspoken thought leader in today’s alternative comics scene. She runs the independent publishing company Iron Circus out of her home in Chicago. Since founding Iron Circus in 2005, she not only published her own comics (including Templar, Arizona and Poorcraft: The Funnybook Fundamentals of Living Well for Less), she has also edited and published several anthologies (including Smut Peddler, The Sleep of Reason, and New World) and completed multiple successful Kickstarter campaigns.
