Injury Comics #4 It's the latest in the ongoing series from Ted May in collaboration with Jeff Wilson and Mike Reddy. It features two stories."A Birdsong Shatters the Still," (Wilson/May), starts off early one spring morning as a gang of teens congregate outside high school getting high just before going to morning detention. Can these addled young adults make it through said detention without garnering even further punishment?"Blades of Grass," (May/Reddy) features Beast Biplane from Injury Comics #3. Beast's best bud Brat Fink wakes up hungover and must contend with arch nemesis, Greg whilst cleaning up revellers' wreckage from the night before. Meanwhile Beast must go mano a mano with a new, sick villain: Steve in Valor! This is just the start of an amazing new story. Ted May just released the fourth issue of his Ignatz Award nominated series Injury Comics. His work has appeared in Nickelodeon Magazine, Vice, Kramers Ergot and Bart Simpson Comics. May is married to the cartoonist Mardou and lives in St. Louis.
