CAKE Invites You To Our Drink & Draw on May 18th
Our next fundraiser event for CAKE 2016 is a Drink and Draw that will take place on May 18th from 7:00 PM to Midnight at The Owl, located at 2521 N. Milwaukee in Chicago. Admission to the event is $5.00, which includes entry to a raffle for some special prizes, and for every drink sold, The Owl will donate $1.00 to CAKE.The artists who will be participating in the event include:

The Chicago Alternative Comics Expo [CAKE] is a weekend-long celebration of independent comics, inspired by Chicago’s rich legacy as home to many of underground and alternative comics’ most talented artists– past, present and future. Featuring comics for sale, workshops, exhibitions, panel discussions and more, CAKE is dedicated to fostering community and dialogue amongst independent artists, small presses, publishers and readers.The Fifth Annual CAKE will take place on Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12, 2016, at the Center on Halsted, 3656 N Halsted Ave. in Chicago.
